We've really enjoyed talking to our customers about possible enhancements to Rings True and we're delighted to announce a new feature. This new functionality will be available to all users at no additional cost to the subscription - (a late Christmas present?).

RingsTrue can run on a set schedule automatically in the background. However, some of our customers told us that they wanted to be able to check a number in real-time, ideally whilst they were still talking to a customer.
They requested that the service or sales rep should be able to enter a telephone number and see immediately after saving if the number was captured correctly using Rings True.
The logic behind this is that you can validate the new number whilst you still have the customer on the phone.
Setting it up
When editing a Lead, Contact, or Account you can now choose to add in a Visualforce Page component that shows you in real time what the current status of that number is.
We recommend adding the component at the top of the page.
